Experience
I completed my degree at the University of Miami with a bachelor's in Communications. My first experience in tutoring students came during a trip to Prague while studying abroad. I was responsible for helping to tutor children in the English language. Since then, I have gained experience substitute teaching. I even acquired my TESOL certification, which allows me to instruct students in English in other countries. I have the ability to tutor in a wide range of topics such as elementary as well as middle school math, and I am very good at helping prepare students for standardized tests. My greatest skill is my ability to teach reading and writing, along with editing. It feel that it is paramount that a student be able to communicate effectively and clearly in order to succeed after their academic life is complete. When I work with students, I emphasize the importance of looking at problems from multiple angles, as there is no one way to solve any problem. I hope to work with my students to find creative and unique ways to look at the world. My goal is to build on top of past lessons and create a strong base that they can rely on for future learning. I currently reside in Weston, Florida.
