--Teaching Methods: My main goal is to allow my students to learn the material in a way where they will not be purely memorizing the information, rather understanding the fundamentals conceptually and practicing repetition of these concepts through applying them to challenging questions. This method is purely due to the fact that majority of the subjects I retained the most knowledge from prior to attending college was the courses where my instructors were able to teach me to truly understand what I was learning rather than memorizing and storing the information temporarily. Therefore, I truly believe I can impact younger children by teaching them these concepts to prepare them for a more successful future in their education. I will be focusing on the above subjects (Math, Science and Physics) primarily for students ages 5-16 years old. --High School: Went to a Medical magnet high school where I completed a total of 17 AP courses (all of which include Sciences, Math and Physics) --College: All Pre-Medical track courses at a college level (UF)- Calculus 1, Statistics, General Chemistry 1 & 2, Biology 1 & 2, Organic Chemistry 1 & 2, Physics 1 & 2, Biochemistry, Genetics, Microbiology. --I have a strong passion for science and math, proving to be explicitly good at the subjects since middle school. My college course load was heavily based in the sciences. Due to my keen interest in the sciences I also received an alternative perspective to the subject area through my two years of research at the Genetics and Molecular Research complex at the University of Florida (2010-2012). I truly found my love for tutoring during college where I was able to teach others the subjects I was currently learning which helped reinforce the material/better prepare myself for my examinations. I began privately tutoring about two years ago.

Hobbies
Aside from my career goal to become a successful physician, I have a passion for dancing. I am a professional indian classical dancer and was granted a diploma at an academy after 12 years of training in 2009. In addition, I love to meet new people and learn about their unique life experiences and interests. Most importantly though, I love spending quality time with my family!
